Trigger on GMCP data

Is it possible to fire triggers on GMCP data?

This simple test example doesn't work.
(trying to trigger on the "room.info" text as received on "Debug Packets")

I'd suggest http://gammon.com.au/forum/bbshowpost.php?id=11042 as a basic primer for GMCP handling.

The short answer is that triggers match on data you actually see. GMCP is "out of band" information that triggers do not process.

However there are plugin callbacks that are specifically designed to catch GMCP data, for example as used by the mapper.

Check out the link provided by Meerclar and also look at the documented plugin callbacks in the help file.

In particular: http://www.gammon.com.au/scripts/doc.php?general=plugin_callbacks
