I'd like to suggest a setting that allows you to type numbers with your keypad when num lock in on and use the keypad when it is off (or vice versa).

I'm not sure I can do that. With NumLock off some keys don't seem to send any response that I can detect.

Hmm. Thanks Nick. A client I have used in the past was able to do this, but I don't know how the author managed to do it, and in fact, all I know about the client's construction is that it was built using a recent version of MS Visual C++, otherwise, I have no insight into its construction.
