| Not all systems seem to require the use of nohup to keep things running when you log out. I do notice it being necessary on a lot of Redhat based systems like Fedora.
The startup script will try and launch the program if it crashes out for some reason. However it will not keep things running in most cases if the mud is deliberately shutdown. The startup script only loops if a "shutdown" file is not present. | | Top |
