This lets you set various other options related to entering commands.
Double-click Pastes Word
If checked, if you double-click a word in the output window, it is immediately copied into the command window (however not using the Windows clipboard).
Double-click Sends Word
If checked, if you double-click a word in the output window, it is immediately sent to the the world. This would be handy for sending a command you see on the screen (eg. in help text).
Escape Deletes Typing
If checked, pressing the Esc key deletes what you have entered in the command window.
Save Deleted Command
If checked, if you delete something by pressing Esc it is saved in the Command History - this is in case you accidentally delete a long command.
Confirm Before Replacing Typing
If checked, before you replace something you have typed (eg. by using the arrow keys), you are asked to confirm you want to get rid of the current contents of the command window.
Arrow Keys Wrap History
If checked, if you are using the arrow keys to traverse the history buffer, and you reach the end of it, then you "wrap around" and go back to the other end.
Arrow Keys Traverse History
If checked, pressing an arrow key (up or down arrow) moves you up or down through the command history. If unchecked, the arrow keys merely move you around inside the current command in the command window.
Arrow Key Recalls Partial Command
If checked, and if "Arrow Keys Traverse History" is checked, and you type a partial command (eg. "eat") and then press up-arrow, then any command matching that partial command (eg. "eat meat") will be presented to you, skipping any commands that do not match.
Alt+Arrow Key Recalls Partial Command
If checked, and if "Arrow Keys Traverse History" is checked, and you type a partial command (eg. "eat") and then press Alt+up-arrow, then any command matching that partial command (eg. "eat meat") will be presented to you, skipping any commands that do not match.
Compatibility
The next options are for compatibility with other clients.
Ctrl+Z Goes To End Of Output Window
If checked, pressig Ctrl+Z takes you to the bottom of the output window.
Ctrl+P Recalls Previous Command
If checked, pressing Ctrl+P recalls the previous command.
Ctrl+N Recalls Next Command
If checked, pressing Ctrl+N recalls the next command.
