So I finally got the code updated so it will compile in visual studio community 2026. There are no errors and 62 warnings. It will load up Smaug 1.8b with no problems I have seen so far but I really don't have much time to play with it, this conversion took quite a bit of work. The code can be found on my github page the URL is https://github.com/bobbyodom100/AreaEditor2026. Anyone who wants to help out if you fix something send me a copy of what was fixed and I will add it. It supports 32 and 64 bit. I am still planning on adding support to load, edit, save, and export other mud formats. Anyway enjoy.

np, the source code now compiles with no errors and i am currently working out some things that visual studio found with code analysis i will be posting the updated code as soon as i finish tonight.
