problem with area mobs not giving exp

im using smaug 1.4 with smaugwizard and any of the new area i have added with areaeditor the mobs wont give exp but the mobs in stock areas do give xp. i also tried loading stock mobs into the new area but alas they still did not give xp. anyone have any ideas on hwo to solve this problem.

All mobs give exp. You just have to be the right level in order to gain the exp. Or maybe you can't gain exp from proto mobs.

interesting i created a lvl 5 mob and created a new character and kill that mob and got no exp but the same mob in a stock area when i kill it gives me exp.

Is that area installed? I don't think you'd be able to gain off proto areas.
