| Hi, I'm looking to start a new mud I have downloaded SmaugFUSS and compiled it using CYGWIN using your instructions. I have really no coding experience and was wondering if someone might be nice enough to help me setup an overland snippet. Basically I'm looking for a 5x5 or 7x7 map the connects rooms/wilderness/areas. I have tried using ackmapper and overland.zip and got completely lost. Is there a place I can download SmaugFUSS with overland or ansi mapping? If anyone would like to help me with this It would make my day
My aim is: Erestese or you can reach me at my email adress mjb@vvm.com

| | There was a post a few months back about interior maps of rooms, and I think there are a few snippets for interiors of places, like a dungeon or such, but most will be quite difficult, and probably above a beginners ability. As far as I know, there is no SMAUG available with it, but there is likely a derivitive. There are list all over the place of smaug derivitives, you can check those out. |

| | Actually it does compile on Cygwin. Quite well in fact. Since I do alot of coding while at work, I have Cygwin installed on my workstation and as a consequence the support has to stay current instead of lagging behind like happens with alot of other codebases. The install.txt file in the distro tells you what's needed to do this :) | | Top |
