my last class which happens to be class #8 (wizard) does not appear in class selection

i have changed max_class to 20, and it does not appear still
i am positive the .class file is in the right format

the same goes for my last race, which i have also made max_race 20, does not appear

am i missing something?

For some obscure reason standard SMAUG does not show the last 2 classes in the class file (see nanny in comm.c).

However SMAUG FUSS fixes this problem.

That's one approach, probably the least desirable.

You could use FUSS (fixed up SMAUG source), or edit comm.c and fix the problem.
