I just started using MUSHClient 4.18 on wine and all of the ansi colors are really dimmed. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, any ideas on how to fix it?

Click on the "defaults" button to return to default ANSI colours?

Its at defaults, hence why I'm surprised at how dim it is.

Hmmm - I am trying to see what is going on here, and to my annoyance, my usual PC has stopped working. This is what I did to make that happen:

  • I was about to go on holidays for a week.
  • The PC was working before I left.
  • I turned it off.
  • I turned off the power at the wall socket.
  • I went away for a week
  • Upon returning, and re-applying power, it simply wouldn't power up. How strange is that?

Anyway, checking in Red Hat Linux, the colours seem OK to me, however if you want them brighter, you can click on world configuration, ANSI Colours tab, and click on the Lighter button to make all colours a bit brighter. Maybe this will help.

Its not that they're not light enough. Its almost as if the bold and other colors are switched. But they're not when I do switch them. I'll try to get a screenshot next time I'm running Linux.
