Hi,

I've enjoyed this client over the years, but as I try to install on a mac which was updated to OS Catalina, I get an error with the recent wine (I don't know if this wine is updated for Catalina) Hope the following copy and paste helps.

macOS Catalina has dropped all support for running 32 bit applications, so 32 bit Wine currently doesn't run on macOS Catalina, unfortunately.

CodeWeavers (major commercial contributors to Wine) are working on a solution, but it will take them some time. You can read about that ongoing effort at their blog:

Nick, is it a simple toggle flip to build MUSHclient as a 64 bit executable? I wonder if that might work, since Wine for macOS has optional 64 bit support.

Well, *you* set up the Appveyor support. Can you make that do a 64-bit executable? I'm not sure my old IDE supports it, but it might.

CodeWeavers announced recently that CrossOver 19 now supports running 32 bit Windows executables on macOS Catalina.

No word on when/whether the support will be able to be integrated into upstream Wine.

Unfortunately my experience so far is that performance for me on Catalina using the latest Crossover is significantly worse than with Wine in previous versions of macOS. :(

I don't know if this is universal or just my laptop, but it's pretty painful.
