i see in some past examples that /$world->Note('hi'); would send that command to the script instead of the world, or at least i read and understood it that way. However when i do it, its sent straight to the MUD, am i missing something?

Go to Game -> Configure -> Scripting..., and make sure that:

- scripting is enabled.
- the Script Prefix is set to /.
