Hello all,

I must begin woth telling iám really a newbie in the mud coding world..

I have the following question.. i have compiled the rom server in linux mandrake that worked perfect...

But i can't execute it.. i really don't know how to execute it i tried many things but i didn't work...

does someone has a idea whats wrong..

Or what do you type to start it in linux?

You haven't said in what way you can't start it. What is the error message?

The simplest way to start it is to change to the area directory and then execute the program, eg.


cd ~/Rom24/area
../src/rom
