Activity Toolbar Always on Top when Floating

I was browsing through the bug & suggestion database and I happened to see a couple of entries similar to what I'd like to see in a future version of MUclient.

Many times MUclient gets covered up with other applications I'm working in, such as a text/code editor (like when I'm editing a plug-in or world script), or when I'm browsing the web (in which case I can end up missing a LOT of activity).

I would LOVE to see an option to allow the Activity Toolbar to be Always on Top when it's floating seperate from the MUclient window. The toolbar is easier to tuck out of the way of other applications than the recommendation to shrink the MUclient window and set it to Always on Top.

Is there any possibility of this as a new option?

You can use the window thing i made, it can be resized, made transparent and click-through, and you could have it report any new activity...

Oh yeah? What is this "window thing?" Where can I find it? Most importantly, how much of a resource hog is it likely to be on an over-worked, under-powered, old P2/233?

I'd only really need this kind of a feature while I'm still stuck using this old, lower-end system of mine. Once I get my workstation system operating again, I'll have at least two desktops (dual monitor setup w/ TV Tuner eventually acting as third) and won't have a problem with other applications covering MUclient up. Everything will be visible.

Yeah, that's the one. It's very light, it takes up almost no resources so you should be fine.

Although if you use an OS before 2000 you won't be able to use the transparency options :(

The activity button bar seems to me to be visible even if the MUSHclient window is buried. It is not "always on top", but if you move it off to one corner then you can see if while you are working on other things.

The other thing you can do is have a trigger play a sound "if inactive" so you can do something like match on "* tells you *" (as this is directed at you personally) and play a distinctive sound "if inactive". This alerts you to the fact that someone is talking to you.
