I have formatted my computer, to polish it from various viruses,
after I have installed the CYGWIN following the instructions of,
Nick: http://www.gammon.com.au/smaug/installingcygwin.htm.
2 months ago, as soon as I installed the cygwin, it went' everything well, and the make
it worked, I now have problem:

pasgal@pasgal-hi7oiw32 ~
$ cd c:

pasgal@pasgal-hi7oiw32 /cygdrive/c
$ cd smaug

pasgal@pasgal-hi7oiw32 /cygdrive/c/smaug
$ cd src

pasgal@pasgal-hi7oiw32 /cygdrive/c/smaug/src
$ make
bash: make: command not found

pasgal@pasgal-hi7oiw32 /cygdrive/c/smaug/src

If "make" isn't there you haven't installed the development tools. It isn't part of the default install. If you follow my instructions exactly you should get 'make'.

If you look at my Cygwin installation page, when you run the Cygwin setup, you *must* have a checkbox next to the word "make" in the "Devel" section.

Can you confirm you have that?

Dear friend Nick, has resolved my problem
I have followed your example, but for safety
I have installed all the voices of the briefcases:
Devel, Doc, Editors, Shells. All the voices, for
safety. My problem is finally resolved.
Thanks for your continuous answers, thanks.

De Martino :o)

PS: Nick I don't love this writing:
pasgal@pasgal-hi7oiw32 ~
pasgal@pasgal "-hi7oiw32"

to change in :

pasgal@pasgal ~

there is a way to get away or to change it?
If the I change, does it change all l my operating system?
