| I just downloaded the Area Builder, I'm running it in Linux using wine. Everything is running fine, except whenever I open/edit/add a description to a room, the editor adds a lower case d on a new line in the description.
Also, if i open the room up in the editor, then go to another room to edit, then come back, there is another d. This will just keep addign d's everytime i change rooms to edit.
Any ideas? | top |

| Yes, there seems to be a strange bug in Wine where the operating system call I am doing for checking that room descriptions do not exceed 80 characters does not work properly.
I have recoded that a different way and it seems to work now under Wine.
I should be able to release a new version in the next 24 hours. |

| The Area Editor version 1.33 has now been released. This fixes that problem, hopefully. |

| Nick,
That was incredible! It worked perfectly! I have to say I just started writing a MUD and I've tried a couple of different Offline Builders. Area Builder seems to be the best. I am also very impressed by the level of customer service you give.
I honestly was expecting a "don't run linux", like most people give, but not only did you answer my problem, but you made a fix just because of my problem.
I am very impressed and very satisfied, I will definantly be purchasing AreaBuilder with my next paycheck!
Thank you again
