Built-in help
-------------

Program documentation has been moved from external text files to a built-in help, using the Windows Help engine. You should be able to get context-sensitive help at almost any time by pressing F1, or clicking on the "Help" button in dialog boxes and configuration screens.

Features
--------

Features, enhancements, and known bugs, are now accessible online through the "help" main contents.

Recommended operating systems to run this program under
-------------------------------------------------------

You can run MUSHclient under:

* Windows 3.1, if you have Win32s (version 1.30 or higher) installed
* Windows 95
* Windows NT 3.51 or higher (Intel)

Win32s
------

Win32s allows you to run 32-bit Windows applications under its Windows 32-bit Subsystem (Win32s). As MUSHclient is a 32-bit application (which runs "natively" under Windows 95 or Windows NT) you will need to install Win32s if you wish to run it under Windows 3.1.

You do *not* need to install Win32s if you have Windows 95 or Windows NT.

How to find Win32s
------------------

Win32s can be found at various locations. See the file WIN32S.TXT (which should accompany this file), for details about Win32s and where to obtain it.

You may also be able to obtain a copy of Win32s from a computer dealer or a developer (programmer).

Hardware requirements
---------------------

You need an 80386, 80486, Pentium or better processor to run Windows 95, Windows NT, or for installing Win32s.

Minimum of 4Mb of RAM required, recommend 8 Mb or more.
