Infobar Help

Hello, I need help with the infobar functions in MUSH.

Its a very simple problem: I'm trying to put more information in it than the bar can hold in 1 line. The excess gets pushed out of view. How do I solve this problem?

My desired solution would be to make the infobar multi-line, and word-warp the excess to the next line, is that possible?

Finally, I read that the infobar can be detached and moved about, but I can't find the help topic with instructions on how to do so. If anyone knows this as well, it would be a great help if you can share.

The info bar isn't designed to be multi-line so you will need to work around this in some way. Some suggestions are:

• Make a small notepad window and use "sent to notepad" to put multi-line stuff there. You can use a function like MoveNotepadWindow to move the notepad to some desirable location (eg. just below the main window).

• You could conceivably try to squash information into the info bar, eg. switching back and forth every couple of seconds to display different things, or use a smaller font.

  That describes how you can make a custom window that can display anything you like (in a separate program). That might be useful for showing status information including bars, text, and other stuff like that.
