Something strange happened tome tonight.

Unable to cnonect to the world that I was opening

Can't recall the exact error message but it had to do with buffering

I been lagging a lot lately... I would connect then for a short time later everything would lock up

I would reconnect and 45 seconds to 6 minutes later I would have to re-connect again...

Could there be an issue with WinXP here?

Could be. I have been connected for days to a server using MUSHclient, so these quick disconnections are likely to be a connection problem with your server, rather than the program itself.
