MUD commands in scripting

I was wondering if there was a way to execute MUD commands (such as "look" inside a script? (lua scripting if it matters)

Isn't there the world.send variety of functions? That sends whatever you like to the world, including commands etc.

yeah. Looked a bit closer on the Functions page and it's

Send (blah blah blah)

for lua. thxs.
