It says it is saved when i type save, though when i get back on all my skills and spells have reverted back to 0%. I don't know why this is, but if anyone could help I would really appreciate it.
Smaug wont save skills or spells.

it won't save skills as in, you sset yourself to 100%? or you make a new skill and it's not saving? what version are you using?
if your making a new skill, make it and then:
sset save skill table

I'm useing 1.4a. I read the read me that came with it on how to become a immortal. When i try to save in the game it doesn't. It says Save, but when i relogin all my skills and spells are back at 0%.
are you an immortal yet? or just level 1 trying to get to level 2?
I did what it said and set myself as an immortal. I'm starting my own mud. But when smaug says it is saved it really isn't.

Exactly. It doesn't save anything not eq., not skills, or spells.
where did you download it from? i would also suggest downloading smaugfuss. it is a better version of smaug1.4a
you would also have to download cygwin if your using windows.

I downloaded the files that you said and i have the right windows version, but nothing at all will save. It states that it is saved but its not. I log out and when i log back in i have to every thing back over again. Someone please help me!
