I noticed that with MUSHClient 3.12, when I start typing and then press the 'down' key, I lose the pose I was writing. There is no warning. Can I turn a 'warning' of some sort? I think there was one before.

Go to the Configuration screen -> Commands, click on "Keyboard preferences" and then check "Confirm before replacing typing".
You may want to uncheck "arrow keys wrap history" also.

I looked at the configuration of the world where it happened, and "Confirm before replacing typing" has a checkmark. "Arrow keys wrap history" is also unchecked.
Also, I noticed that when logging, ever since I upgraded from 3.06 to 3.12, my commands are included in my logs. I checked Configure -> Logging, and 'Log Commands' has no checkmark.
There is a bug in 3.12 that commands that you type might be replaced by a blank line when you use the up or down arrow.
This is fixed in 3.13.
