please help . Am getting BUG: fread_word: EOF encountered etc etc after reading the area file. Triple checked the file its ok. tried making the area with and without area editor and when running the precompiled server version it crashes. Oh rooms = 2 mobs =1 and obs =2 so its hardly that complex an area. many thanx

Have you checked to make sure the VNUMS of the area you have aren't coinciding with the areas already in the mud? I beleive that would cause problems if they overlap. If thats not the case I'm not sure.
