Hi,
It appears that the new MUSHClient (v 3.20) somehow does not show when my char when he's casting spell, e.g:
AAAA utters the words, 'judicandus qfuhuqar'.
This kind of line is somehow blocked by the program. I tried to disable the trigger and alias but the problem stays, anyone can help pls?
Do you have other triggers that might be doing it? Try disabling all triggers (one checkbox on the triggers list) and see if the problem goes away. If so, it is one of them, and you just have to find which one.
Yeah, ive tried to disabled all triggers by checking the box and the problem is still there
By unchecking the box I suppose you mean. :)
No version should randomly gag lines, there must be a reason, perhaps the MUD doesn't send them any more?
Try using an earlier version of MUSHclient, or straight telnet, to check whether the lines are actually appearing.
Yeah, i did it by unchecking the box :)
It was fine when i use the previous version until recently when i upgraded
I've had a couple of occasions where a trigger does not seem to fire for me when I'm sure it should... but I've got such complex scripts behind most triggers, that I figure it's probably a programming error... despite the fact they worked fine for a long time. I'm still going through the debug procedures on my end before I ask for help, but I'd be interested in reading any other reports of strange behaviour.
More than likely, it's something we are doing on our own end. Something being overlooked, etc...
