When I type my commands, I can not see the text and I am unable to see if there's a typo, this could be dangerous for my character, so can someone please help me with making the text visible as i type it?

Can you see the text box? There should be a line separating it from the output area. You may have resized it down so small you can't see it. Or, maybe you have somehow set it to white text on a white background?
