I'm just a bit curious.. I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I'd like to know if there's any real use for the 'New Window' command in the menu? I'm sure there must be, I just can't think what it could be.. Could it perhaps be used to send separate output? And if so, how?

Example of it being used: scroll up on one window to look at text, and switch to the other to send input.

Both windows have command areas, so say you are a builder and typing in (or editing) a room description, and someone sends you a "tell". You can use the other window's input area to reply, without losing the text in your other command area.

Similarly, you might chat with someone in one window, and do moving and fighting in another.

Ah.. I can see where that would come in handy. Usually I just end up copying and pasting stuff, even to notepad.. Is there a way to have the extra window present in the activity bar?

The activity bar lists worlds, so no, it is still considered the same world. In any case, the activity in both windows will be the same, as "new activity" applies to the world, not just a particular output window.
