Ok, what I'm wanting to do is somehow set up an alias that allows me to to use random tags on a team line.

Syntax: team <insert message here>

Now depending on the tag it will be either before or after the message.

Anyone able to help me out?

You would use an asterisk for the wildcard, provided that what you want.
team *
would capture 'team (whatever)' and then in the send line you could use %1 to have that whatever be sent.

I will say I don't quite understand what you're asking (especially with the tags, and before/after).

If you want a random function (random as in rolling a die), that's possible. But I won't get into it, since I don't really think thats what your asking.
