| When using the area editor to create a weapon, how would i go about setting the level of the weapon. I have tried various dice settings and i still cant seem to make a weapon for a character below level 5. Please how do i go about setting the level of objects?

| | If I remember correctly under SMAUG the level of objects is automatically set by the area itself and not the individual object. This stops objects with inappropriate levels appearing in areas. |

| Curious,
I have come across the same problem lately. I understand the part Nick made mention of the area setting the level of the weapon. But, is there a way around this?

| There is a way around anything, however in some cases it is more obscure than others. :)
The level-setting code is one of the more obscure ones, however I would look for the part where it calculates the level based on the area level. I recently answered a post about doing that for a shop. |

| Glances up at Nick's post and slinks off to look through the posts, like he should have to start with. :-)
