| Hi,
installed DoT some days now, and ive been setting up and creating/customizing ..
But now I tried to make some objects but got a problem with the olc, the v0,v1,v2... commands dont work,i mean, I can use them, but they dont display nothing or change nothing, its just like when you press enter, just skip a line and display nothing, so I cant set up type of object or affects or stuff.
I havent touched the code, its the clean install of DoT, just made some races and areas with the olc without having any problem, just the oedit.
take care and thanks in advance.

| | From what you described it sounds like you're trying to set the v-fields before you set the item type to something other than trash(default). Unless the otype you are editing has a functional use for the v-field you are trying to change, entering new values for the fields won't do anything because the editor code isn't designed to accept values that don't apply to the otype you're editing. Try changing otypes then entering the field values you want, if that doesn't work let me know and I'll see about coming over for a hands-on look at the problem. |

| Hi,
the only values I cant change are de v0,v1,v2..
But I can set if its a weapon, cloth, etc.. or extra flags of it.. I posted cause I used some time the 1.8 ver of olc, and didnt have any problems, but now with the DoT olc had that problem.
Cheers,

| Can you provide the object type you are working with.
Also if it is an existing object, the vnum.
You could even provide a screendump/log segment to show what you are meaning.
