lol Nick. I know to make the guild on the MUCK but I need help on getting started with VBscript, I'm going to use it to program the 'bots' that control the arenas. Storing users stats, emitting the damage that has been done, controlling the arenas, etc. I'm just wondering if there's anyone out there who could maybe teach me some basics or suggest a reference book? Like, I *really* suck. I read the exampscript.vbs and didn't understand most of it. x.x If anyone wouldn't mind teaching me or maybe just giving me some advice, either make a post on this or email me at Charaznoble@yahoo.com
-Thanks, Sratus.

There are quite a few reference books around on VB - it is one of the most popular languages being used today (after Cobol and maybe C).

However a lot of books are written around doing web pages, which is not what you want.

Try a book on VB scripting, or browse the web - there will be hundreds of pages about it.

Alternatively, look through some of the posts in the forum, most of the examples here are in VB, and if you read the whole post you will see what they are trying to do.
