So I have an issue, and I'm too tired to figure it out, I'd appreciate a bit of help.

I'm gagging lines because they're so spammy, they're driving me crazy.

Problem is, on some muds, instead of removing the lines, it replaces them with blank ones, and important text is still spammed off the screen.

What am I doing wrong?

Sometimes MUDs "helpfully" add an extra blank line if they think you have just had a prompt, so as to start the next line on a new line.

There is an "omit blank lines" plugin supplied with MUSHclient. Try installing that. That gets rid of all blank lines, but that probably isn't a huge problem. Better than having text just scroll off the screen for no obvious reason.

There is some sort of forum bug that truncates posts if they have special characters in them. Try redoing your post without using funny quotes or other characters which are greater than hex 0x7F.
