I'm attempting to make a mapper, (e.g, the room name is show, gives me the number to the map for it.) but I'm confused on how to add a line of text to the prompt. Should I just gag it and make a note? If so, how would I do that?

You can't change incoming text (easily, anyway). So yes, the best way would be to gag and re-display. There should be quite a few examples on the forum. In brief, make a trigger, check "omit from output" and "send to output" if what you want to add is simple, or "send to script" and build up something more elaborate.
